DRUNKARDS, a speed/thrash metal band originally from Bergamo, announce the release of the second single SCARED TO DEATH, scheduled for September 12, 2024.
The author of the lyrics of the song is Chiara De Capitani. The song will be available on the website www.drunkardsitaly.com and on the main digital platforms.
On the band’s website it is possible to download for free WE DON’T CARE, the first single released on March 29, 2024, which marked the group’s return to the scene after a break that lasted thirty-five years.

I DRUNKARDS, thrash metal band originaria di Bergamo, attiva dalla fine degli anni ottanta grazie alla pubblicazione di due album su etichetta LM RECORDS di Luigi Mazzesi (l’omonimo debutto targato 1988 e il successivo NO TRACE OF SANITY, inciso nel 1989 ma pubblicato postumo nel 2009 dalla NEW LM RECORDS) hanno il piacere di annunciare il ritorno sulle scene dopo un lungo periodo di inattività.
Il 29 marzo 2024 verrà pubblicato sulle principali piattaforme digitali il nuovo singolo WE DON’T CARE, mentre il gruppo sta già lavorando alle registrazioni del terzo album.
L’attuale lineup della band vede Marco “Bruco” Ferri alla voce, Marco Vetturi e Alessandro Deponti (ex REBORN/REST IN PAIN) alle chitarre, Germano Minuti al basso e Marco Bottazzi alla batteria.
Il testo del brano è stato scritto da Chiara De Capitani e vede la partecipazione di Antonio “Tone” Solivari (storico fonico live della band) come special guest alla chitarra solista.

DRUNKARDS, a thrash metal band originally from Bergamo, active since the end of the eighties thanks to the publication of two albums on LM RECORDS label (the homonymous debut from 1988 and the subsequent NO TRACE OF SANITY, recorded in 1989 but published posthumously in 2009 by NEW LM RECORDS) are pleased to announce their return to the scene after a long period of inactivity.
On March 29, 2024, the new single WE DON’T CARE will be released on the main digital platforms, while the group is already working on the recordings of the third album.
The band’s current lineup features Marco “Bruco” Ferri on vocals, Marco Vetturi and Alessandro Deponti (ex REBORN/REST IN PAIN) on guitars, Germano Minuti on bass and Marco Bottazzi on drums.
The lyrics of the song were written by Chiara De Capitani and sees the participation of Antonio “Tone” Solivari (the band’s historic live sound engineer) as a special guest on lead guitar.
